 The Kiwanis Club of Glenview –
Northbrook is a service club affiliated with Kiwanis International.  We are dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.  Kiwanians are volunteers of men and women united in our commitment to and compassion for others, but at the same time we are ordinary people who perform extraordinary work for children and the communities in which we live and work


 


In our luncheon meetings held every Monday from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at Hackney’s on

Lake Avenue in Glenview and we often have a speaker who provides our membership with information about the many issues in the Glenview, Northbrook, and

North
Shore communities.  Our future speakers are shown below.



 


November 10, 2008--Owen Masterton, Glenview Police Department Community Relations Officer will discuss the Police Department at work for us.


 


November 17, 2008--Member Justyne Scott and Carol Scott of the N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home will discuss the funeral business and options available to people needing services.


 


November 24, 2008--Member Ellen Fagerburg, Executive Director of the Wesley Child Care Center will discuss the operation of this school's program, as well as the various activities available at Wesley.


 


Early to mid-December, 2008--Holiday luncheon, date, time, and place to be determined; however, please consider inviting your family and friends to this gala event!
